Tyhee Forestry Consultants Ltd. is in beautiful Smithers, BC. For 30 years we have provided technical and management services to the resource industry.

Who We’re Looking For?

Tyhee is looking for a great human that will be part of our small fun team to meet our clients resource stewardship goals. The ideal candidate will have No Experience in forestry but a love for the outdoors, a willingness to learn, an awesome attitude and sense of humour.

What Will You Do?

This entry level position could be the beginning of a long career in forestry, without a lot of schooling leading to a profession where you could earn $100,000 per year. Working alongside Forest Professionals you will be involved in a variety of projects around Smithers and Northern BC. We are a learning environment, and you will be learning and working in a variety of forestry projects through to completion. You will be exposed to all types of field work in all phases of development projects, riparian and ecosystem assessment, recce, layout and timber cruising. These positions are great to learn about what a great career might be out there for you in forestry and silviculture or to fill your resume with expanded skills.
